Hmmm.
I don't know the guy and I have no basis on which to believe or disbelieve him. That said, it does seem a bit convenient that he now owns the car he says is VIN 001. I'd be interested to hear what the 22 engineering changes are that he has identified as being proof that this is VIN 001.

Safety Car
I know the person and the car. I do not believe the story being told. The car being represented as #001 has been around and in the hands of many well known Corvette experts for more than the last thirty years, If there was even the slightest possibility of the car being real it would not be in the current owners hands. Just saying that things are not always what they are represented to be.
