64 L84 - #202 coil?
My 64 L84 has what appears to be its original
#202 coil - but the notes suggest #091 coil
my car is early, so i suspect this was an early service center replacement but is the 091 the correct solid lifter coil foe a Nov63 built 64 L84?
edit - std ignition
cheers

The NCRS TIM&JG for the 1964 does not even mention a 202 coil in any engine nor in 1963. It was the 091 only for non-TI L84s.

only info i have seen are copies of the service notes that John Hinckley shared about different resistors and the 087 coil but that wasn't dated until Jan of 64. So my Nov63 car would obviously predate that.
i have no reason to suspect anything other than an 091 coil - but if there is any documentation than early 64 solid lifter cars may have had another coil - im all ears! (Or eyes in this case) lol
