You also need to run at least an 8ga wire from the alternator output to the battery (connection on the starter is easiest.

My 8 gauge wire runs to the horn relay. The charge wire is the stock I believe 14 Gauge to limit battery overcharging which runs to the battery from the horn relay. Before it gets to the Horn Relay it goes thru a 135 amp circuit breaker on the inner fender next to the Alternator. A internal diode failure in the Alternator is something you don't want ...hence the CB.

Concept 1 besides there belt/pulley systems, I found there alternator video very informative..

I have the Concept 1 serpentine system with their bigger Power Master alternator. I am a running a lot more electrical goodies though. Great company to deal with by the way.
