I think the tanks are 20 gal. So 5 gal 1/4.

I had problems with the aftermarket Senders. Then when I went to FI with a Tank form "TANKS" they sent me an aftermarket Corvette Gauge modified to go into the top of the tank. I went thru 2 of those, They were Junk. It's the same aftermarket that most Corvette retailers sell.

Then Tank's got the message and bought a Military Version that uses a Ball float in a tube. Real accurate and works well. But.... it is only intended for top mount FI Tanks that they sell. https://www.tanksinc.com/index.cfm/p...rod/prd805.htm

I have always considered the gauge as a casual guess. As long as the pointer bobs around a little, there's enough gas to get to the station.

Drive more ,and, you will figure out, how
much gas ,you really have. Fill up your
tank enough times ,you will start to get a
idea, about, fuel guage accuracy.
