Dire Straits, any of their songs but Sultans of Swing for sure when driving. Modern alternative rock, all Chris Cornell, Nirvana Live MTV, Linkin Park, White Stripes..... I BT Sun Radio from Dripping Springs Texas to get a very eclectic mix of all of this. Sounds just Like KLBJ back in the day.

Venue, not the 66 as my hearing sucks and it's just not quiet enough for music. My wife's LX470 is good but not fun, the 997 is excellent!

My favorite driving music venue is my F150, as it has satellite radio. For others, our favorite venue is likely our Corvette. The genre or artists we listen to is what's being discussed above.

Yes, I know what OP was asking (and I responded accordingly above) but the musician in me prompts a clarification.

Yupper, my favorite music comes out of the 'off-road' mufflers.

I was going to ask what a music venue was (other than your favorite club) but I figured someone else would do it.

Oh brother ,OL men listening to old
music driving around the block.
If you are out on the road driving who
has time to turn on a radio? The sound
of the engine and the sounds of the car are
my music.

Yeah, I knew venue was the wrong word when I wrote it but couldn’t think of the right word at the time. I am surprised it took this long for someone to bring it up.

nah, you're good!

And for what has to be the all-time best song for rowing through the gears, I'd nominate "Born To Be Wild" by Steppenwolf.

Spotify here... I've got a 60's playlist consisting of dozens of 60's only songs. Nothing else when I drive my '66. Stock radio but output on the back to wirelessly connect to my phone.

$.02 deposited

Hey, I just got rid of my cassettes, and most vehicles won't play my CD's!

Outlaw Country (60) plays everything from "old country" to anything else. They throw SOME Red Dirt artists in there, not as much as I'd like but not bad. They need a "Radio Free Texas" channel!
