Original or not it's still a '67 L88 Corvette that's not going to spend any miles doing what is was built to do.
More time will be spent talking about it than driving it.

On second thought, I think you are right. I was concentrating on the Tonawanda stamp and the grain which I believe are original. But it seems like a block from an over the counter L88 engine that would have had a perfect Tonawanda stamp and perfect grain with incorrect VIN stamps added. The 2’s and 4 in particular are obviously too wide and do not match the VIN characters on the transmission.
