Really looking forward to the "Sunshine State" for a few weeks...even tho the winter up here hasn't been the worst on record.

VW bugs could be had as a convertible with a semi-automatic for a year or two. Must have flipped the description. If you spend time at auctions and wonder who is buying the crappy cars for too much money its the dealers. I recognize many of them. They feed their inventory buying the back bench at auctions. That's why they all have hair on them. Way over priced, bad stamps, tags, and stories.

Wow, gorgeous car! Is that from the dealer in question?

Beautiful car!!!!!

It's funny, I am actually looking for a Viper to add to my garage, so if anyone knows a private seller that has one let me know. Started down a "Rabbit Hole" and found the car in the original post. I really don't want to add another C-2...but?!?!?
Where are you going in FL? We are headed to Marco Island. First time for an extended vacation. Not fully retired, but I'm workin on it!!!

Thanks! No need to worry about buying that car as when you go to the actual dealers website that car is SOLD. https://www.classiccarsofsarasota.co...rolet-corvette
It may have sold a long time ago I have no idea. We are headed to Sunny Isles Beach on the Atlantic side. Enjoy your trip and safe travels!

You may want to check the conditions on Marco Island. I seem to recall it was hit pretty hard in the recent hurricane?

You may already be aware of this but Vipers have a habit of doing a 180 so fast that a professional driver can’t catch it while it is happening. So there are many of them that have had rear end collision damage. Luckily they are new enough that you can get a Carfax that will usually show this.

We already did...thanks. We had rented a house and literally, 2 weeks later the hurricane came ashore. We have friends in Naples that went on a recon mission and said all was good.

Yup...for sure. Clean CARFAX is a MUST!!! There are also ways around that, but it costs $$$ out of pocket. I have a friend that owns an auto body shop and I know of more than a few times he has fixed cars for cash and no record of the damage.

I was looking at a 63 from them 6-7 years ago. They were advertising numbers match. I asked them for photos of the block twice. It was not posted. Asked again, and the vin on the pad and on the dash tag were not even close.
