1973 T-top! 350 balanced and blueprinted! here on the Blue Ridge Parkway, 1975 or 76! With the exception of the pandemic year, I’ve taken a Corvette up there every year since!

My Nephew is a car guy. The 76 is in final stages of paint with check list on driver's door. Had the car since 77, so time to give it some love.

I bought this 1975 L-48 in 1993 while stationed at Offutt AFB near Omaha. I was a MSgt and a neighbor, a Capt, came down and helped me strip off the paint. This was done after work during the summer heat and humidity and don’t forget the mosquitoes. He is now a retired Major General and one of my best friends. Another friend loaned me his compressor and tools

and taught me to prime it. We did most of the work in my garage and driveway. For the final spray, I rented the paint booth at Offutt and my friend sprayed it there. Good to have friends that don’t mind getting their hands dirty.

My first, a 54, paid $850. A great car for a 17 year old kid in high school.
283/3spd out of a 57.

My first, a 60' bought in 1967. It ran OK but, I blew it up and made it into a 500 hp track monster. What a learning experience for the future.

Pretty sure it was 1977. I didn't purchase it this way, but this is what happened after an.....individual....blew through a blind intersection. Almost took out my entire front end.

Unfortunately, the only picture I have of it.

My first, wish I had more pictures of it. Exactly like the one in my avatar, but mine had head rests.
435 H.P. big block that I bought 2 years old in late 1969. Would love to have that one back.

Here's my first, a 1974 convertible, that I got in 1983 when I was 18 years old. Wish that I still had it to go with my 67.

Only pic I have of my '59. This was in 1981 at the Flying L Ranch in Bandera, TX. The blue '69 Mustang in the background is still owned by the same guy. Taking that thing to drive on the beach in Corpus Christi was more fun than a guy should be allowed to have.

My '68, 327/350. Owned for just one year '74 to '75 when I bought a new Firebird. My previous car? Believe it or not, a '71 VW Beetle.
