Soft top latches
Hi everyone. I have a 59, my question is about soft top front latches. My passenger side latch is very worn and the pivot pin keeps coming out.
Q. Are the soft top latches the same as hard top front latches
thank you

No, the latches are different. Here is a link with additional details.

Maybe that's what I have. My latches do push into the soft top slightly. BUT they also went back and forth between my hard top and soft top with no problems. I knew they were supposed to be different, but it worked for years until I sold the hard top.
So what does the base of a C2 latch look like? After watching that video, I'll have to pull it off and look at mine.
