Next year the movie celebrates it's 50th anniversary.
"Where were you in '62?"

In the Fall 62 I was a junior in high school dreaming of the new Sting Ray. In 73 I was on third C2 (67, red/red, 427/390, AC, convertible), Is this a great country or what!

I agree, in 62 I was in high school without a care in the world. In 72, the government saw that I needed some direction in my life and they gave me a free, all expense paid vacation to south east Asia. They gave me an airplane to fly and all of the bombs and gas that I could ever hope for. What a great country!

Like watson above, in '62 I was a freshman in high school dreaming of having a Corvette and a drivers license. In '73 I was home from Vietnam, driving a '66 BB roadster bought with my combat pay. Yes, a great country!

"The Hollywood Knights" from 1980 had some great cars too and was a clone of "American Graffiti". Tony Danza drove the Motortrend X 1957 Project Chevrolet and was cast as the John Milner character. A Shelby Cobra was the nemesis in this movie, rather than a 1955 Chevy. More hi- jinks and a little cruder than AG, but some great cars.
