I'll have to admit guilt as I don't check the events section of the forum as most are near the cities and not an easy cruise from the sticks. Anyway, a friend with a C6 asked if we are going to Bloomington Gold and the cruise. I was not aware it begins this coming Thursday. June 9th and continues thru Saturday June 11th. I was very disappointed in the web site https://www.bloomingtongold.com It seems rather sketchy and incomplete. I didn't really find a detailed schedule of the seminars. The cruise as the final event doesn't define the route, only Old 66, most of which is abandoned.
Being only 25 miles away, we will probably go at least one day as see how it compares with the Bloomington Gold of the 70s / 80s at Bloomington, IL.
Any one else going to attend? Maybe find a place to meet and put names to the I.D.s and avatars.

Looks like the weather on Friday may be a concern here in Illinois. 52% chance of rain all day. Definitely need a roll of masking tape if I drive up on Friday.
I have a son-in-law to be that has a 2017 (I think) Camaro with the 700 hp LS engine and is wanting to come also. I have to confer with him on the day. Thinking probably Saturday, but would still like to meet some of you.
I wonder if we could get club parking for the Corvette Forum? I know they will have reserved parking for the local clubs. Have to check into it.
