Default Hood Latch Passenger side does not release

Folks,
The hood latch passenger side does not release when I pull the hood release cable handle under the dash. The driver side does release. I think that the cable stop on the passenger side has loosened. What's the best way to release the hood so we can fix this issue.

Thanks,

John

There are many threads concerning this. Do a search search. If your car has factory A/C it can be very difficult.

OK. However, I'm a bit technology challenged. Can you tell me how you would do a thread search on this topic? BTW, no air conditioning...
Thanks in advance for your help.

Top of the page within the red banner - toward the right you'll see the word "Search" with a drop down - that allows you to do an Advanced Search . . . open that, input your search criteria, pick C2 Corvettes - and you're off!!!
