Do any of you have a recommendation for a good over the counter replacement for a Voltage Regulator for my '61? Looking to install it to keep my car on the road while my original 1119001 is being serviced.
Looks like you can get one at Advanceauto, Autozone, or NAPA. I would check online first though because all locations won't have them in stock, but NAPA can usually do over-night on most parts.

Rock Auto advertises several on their website including one they are calling "GM Genuine" for $52.79. It states it will ship in either a GM Genuine or AC Delco box. See the link below.
OMG I searched and found a brand new voltage regulator that is not made in Communist China! AC Delco 1119003 Made in the USA! Found it on Amazon for a great price. 30 amp should work perfect for the '61 AND it has the original configuration Delco Remy cover. Amazing.
