62 complete front suspension replacement. upgraded
Want to replace the whole front suspension system in my wife's 62 with a bolt or weld in complete unit with coil overs and disk brakes and rack and pinion steering. My question is which one to install. I see more than one Mfg, of these units. I like the looks of the Helix CornerKiller unit but says welding needed. Is there a bolt in unit unit out there and what options do I need to make it a nice install. Have installed electric power steering so only need a Manual R&P. Any info would be appreciated.

There website seems to be a bit out of date, articles and etc, are 6 to 8 years old. When I contacted them several years ago about their "bolt in" front suspension was told there was a little welding that had to be done. At that time no one was offering a direct bolt in front end! If that has changed I for one would like to know also who has this option!

Thanks to all. I have calls in to Billy Dawson and Martz and will share the answers when I get them. Thanks again.
Here is an article on the Martz front suspension install. Looks to be a bolt in system and a nice one. Waiting on a call on price.

I'd be interested in what you find out also. I guess everyone just drops a $25k full frame under their resto mods these days. Which isn't really in my budget but I would love to upgrade the front end somehow.

On the FB C1 forums a builder installed a corner killer kit, said it was a nightmare, he eventually was put in contact with the designer and got things straightened out but he made several modifications to it.

Martz Chassis does manufacture a bolt in unit as in the article and says they are 8 to 10 weeks out on orders.
Front suspension system (bolt in w/ tubular upper and lower control arms) includes power or manual steering, stock or drop spindles.=$3,050
Options on brakes from $300 to $800 Coil-Overs $500 to $800
1'' Sway bar $325
Looks like a good bolt in unit will run about $ 4,500 plus shipping
Any other info and options you should call or email Martz Chassis. http://martzchassis.net/
Billy Dawson just pushed their complete frame so I think I will go with Martz Chassis
