[C2] tilt steering column

tilt steering column
Has anyone installed a tilt steering column in a C2 recently? Most of the threads are older and I was wondering which one would be the best and easiest to install.

Ididit has a exact replacement steering column that fits perfectly in a 63 to 66 Corvette. Installs just fine, they do sell a kit for the turn signal wires to plug right into your existing harness of course that’s an extra. If you get it powder coated black it looks like factory. They are not cheap usually around $650. There’s a guy I know who had one new in a box for sale for $550 I won’t see him until the beginning of March.

I installed an IDIDIT tilt column last year. Very easy job and it looks factory. I could not use the stock steering wheel because it was too close. I used an aftermarket wheel that is a bit flatter.
