Looking for CF Fulie Owner Introductions
Hi, do you know of a friend on the forum who has a real-deal 65 375 car? I am a nice small town guy and long-term member who would like that start a friendly dialog with current CF owners (coupe or convertible) regarding a possible future new home for their car. If you should know of a friend on the forum who has a true numbers-matching car (Bloomington or NCRS judged car, or factory complete unrestored car), I would greatly appreciate an introduction. I understand and appreciate a good car. Just PM me with your thoughts & suggestions....
PS. I have tried the WTB section but it is not geared to just starting discussions...too many first timers...
Thanks in advance for any thoughts or intros...

Thanks, yes I been in contact with Jim for years. He is the best knowledge source in the country for 65 fuel cars and great to talk with. When Jim reps a car it is usually a very special car with a solid story. Enjoy every time we talk...

This car was on Jim's website and recently was offered on BaT (did not sell)

By what I see, this should be a serious contender.

I may be missing something here. I thought you were looking for owners of fuelie cars to interface with. For what it’s worth, my car is an original fuelie. It also has the original engine and was awarded a regional Top Flight. To Clarify, my car is VIN 100009. It is not a production car. It was one of 10 built for display and road testing under the direction off Tech Center personnel during the 64 production cycle. Anomalies are Hand Laid fiberglass body modifications, cross flags and fuel injection emblems on the fenders, absence of the telescopic steering column reinforcement bar, no stenciled frame number, factory grind-put of the RF engine stamp, replacement with HG, and all gauges are stamped with Show Job.

I have three original 65 FI corvettes, a green roadster I bought in 1970, a white coupe I bought in 1985 and a black 65 coupe I bought last year. I'm familiar with 65 FI's. mike mccagh

I have one of those FI cars. Not sure what you are looking for, wanting to learn or discuss about an FI car, but if you have questions perhaps I can help. Jeff

I don’t get the reason for this thread unless theOP thinks he is going to locate someone that none of the other people that have responded or suggested for contacts? These people have been playing with FI and/or have owner/car info for FI cars for many years. I don’t think he is going to gain anything NEW from this thread.
