Finished my '61
I'm 90% done, I don't think I'll ever be 100%. 383 stroker with the new Tremec TKX transmission, limited slip differential new Al Knoch carpet and canvas top, Wilwood brakes up front, fresh chrome, Torque Thrust II wheels with Good Year tire stickers.

Looks wonderful!
How does the TKX shift? Smoother than the TKO?
The dip stick's on the driver's side, where God intended it to be, so did you bore out your previous block or what?

A local race engine builder, CAMCO Racing Engines in Weymouth built it from a 350 block he had. It's .30 over with a crank from a 400. I've never driven a car with a TKO, but the TKX is very nice. My understanding is it is small than the TKO. I can't imagine shoehorning anything larger, the TKX just barely fit. I can't remember the specs but we had to go with the smallest available u-joints to clear the tunnel.
It's a blast to drive, still breaking it, the torque is tremendous!
