The interior is a bit of departure from the rest of the car theme, but I let out trim guy just get creative and wanted to do something different than everyone else. We had originally planned on using a completely stock interior but changed direction mid-project, in the end we are very happy with the result. It’s a crazy fun car to drive, hope they enjoy it.

The engine detail was lost on most of the BJ buyers, and they walked past, I’m hoping the SEMA crowd “gets it”.

Have fun at SEMA Rob....looking forward to working with you one day on my Suburban
The charger was a very cool and convenient touch, for folks that actually drive their cars, there isn’t a place to lay your phone except in the passenger seat which always ends up in the floor.

Looking forward to your Suburban!

I would say great build but I said it when you built it. Great build and I love the interior guy.

Glad the new owners are letting you show it. You did an excellent job as usual. Can’t wait to see the progress on your personal build.

Love everything about the build Rob. It looks like Mike made you another gorgeous set of wheels. They look stunning on that car and the stance is awesome! Hope to get mine from Mike soon (though they will be a little more subdued than what you did)!

It’s going to be a little while before we get cracking on it, we have a ‘58 & ‘61 Restomod builds getting started along with ‘66 Travelall and a ‘66 Fastback Restomod. Going to start collecting parts while we are waiting on the chassis.

I got to meet and talk to Rob and check out the beautiful restomod Corvette today at the Sema show today as well as the super cool K5 Blazer. The attention to details and workmanship are outstanding. Just Wow!

I've got no comments on taste and choices - those are so subjective and you can't please them all - but the quality of work and the attention to detail is second to none.

I liked your comment where the BJ buyers looked at the engine and had no clues, but you went to such detailed effort to nod to the original details under the hood - even the AC compressor has that old Frigidaire appearance. That and all the updated originality in the interior as well.

This restomod looks beautiful and I especially like the wheels. I need all the information on those wheels as I am looking for new wheels for my restomod 66.

That looks gorgeous Rob! I really like the attention to detail in the engine area especially the sparkplug wires. I also love the interior.
Really nicely done.

BOTB could also be short for Best of the Best in my book!

I like all of the interior, except for the interior door pull, and attachment clip. To me, it's just not as well thought out as the rest of the interior, but to each, their own....

It's drop dead gorgeous but I think it should be classified as a Pro-street. It's a stretch for a restomod.
