Vintage goodyear tires.
I see a few cars on here with great looking Goodyear white letter tires. Where are you getting them? Are the radial ? I would like a set for my newest project. Triple black 66 roadster 425 427 I have a few sets of knockoffs and gold lines but I don't think they will look right on this car.

Must be a reference to the car's color clashing with them or the old Coker orange lines that were around for awhile.

I think Diamondback does blueline tires. They do not offer white letters but give them a call to see what they have.

I say go for it! I sounds like I'm one of the few white letter guys and really like the look. You can go with modern day B F Goodrich radials which is a good tire. When I got my car years ago it had
Firestone Wide Oval tires on it. So I looked into it and there is at least one company that makes vintage style radial white letter tires. I believe Goodyear Polyglas was among them. Can't comment on quality though as I have not run any yet. Mickey Thompson makes a white letter also but you are somewhat limited on size. A familiar name on a vintage car, how cool is that?

Go to tirestickers.com for a whole range of temporary and permanent rwl transfers in various sizes. For a real vintage look, there is a company that also makes stencils to spray paint the Goodyear logo on the sidewall. These are tire stickers:

R compound Avon CR6ZZs with fake BFG letters....best of both worlds. The Avon tread pattern with the letters looks vintage, but it drives like a modern, sticky radial.

These are real Good Year tires, and they continue the vintage Good Year racing tire look...... I am not sure who sells them, or what other sizes they come in, but they sure look good on this car.......

Here is the stencil company.

They made all the decals for my FFR Daytona Coupe which were perfect.

I have these vintage '64 Firestone Sport Car 200 6.70X15s on my '64 FI, J56 tanker, they are actually the tires the car left the dealership with in '64.....

Diamond back tires will put a blue line on your choice of tire. And honestly factory gold line tires never really looked gold , but my Diamond back gold lines are not orange.

Thanks Mark, owe a lot to you getting me set up with Darren at Ridetech.😀. Are you in Mahopac now? I am in NY until the end of October. May get up that way before I head south. Would love to see your garage.😎

Damn you and your perfect wheels!!! I'm still kicking myself for not ordering a set while they were still in business. I refuse to buy from Coker just on the principle that they acquired that company, and did not offer ANY of their products. What the hell is the point of acquiring a company, then killing their entire product line?!?

Are those P&S wheels. Phil made me 2 sets of Grandsport wheels one set of kidney beans and one set of others but I can't remember what they are called. They where spoke type racing wheels for my Owens Coring recreation. I never did know who bought Phil out.
