Default rear end code ???

trying to figure out cade 67 C2 rear end stamping is Q or O 1 67 W8E1. anybody have a idea ??????

It is a C3 model year rear gear. OP might do better with asking in that section. But a clear pic would help either place.

I have no idea since you are missing a letter at the front for all the codes I found.

1976-79 used "O" codes. So the question is not as much what year it is but what condition it is. Was the 67 diff blown up years ago and a cheap core installed? Was it rebuilt before install? The only way to know is to open it up but if it's in good condition, no leaks or chatter it might not be worth it. If it's stock 76-79 then there are some things in it that need attention and the axles are one so I would look to make sure they haven't crashed into the axle seal bore lip yet.
