1963 glove box door reinforcement
Where does the reinforcement go, in between the door front and the base or? If it's between the door cover and the base it's a very tight fit.
Thanks;

Frankie would know and if he was here he'd have your answer. I had a 63 coupe with that reinforcement but I forget.
Geesh, I miss Frankies great contributions here. He's always been there for everyone to answer these types of questions.

The reinforcement goes under the glove box door just do not over tighten the screws when you put them back in. The reinforcement is exposed from underneath when the door is closed

One other thing, seems like it would help if the void between the door and base were filled with something like silicone. It might help by taking the pressure off the bottom of the door when installed?
