Lol
Nice try.
I was just being a smartass. I had this wheel made by the man who does some C2 repro teak wheels. He said he had never done one , but had wanted to try. I like the way it turned out, and is pretty unique. I don’t know if I’m allowed to mention his name 👍

With the price of repop teak wheels it looks like you are paying for an original wheel. so might as get a real one

(Edited)...I also sold two Z-06 wheels that went in Z-06 replicas that were a piece of art.
I have been fortunate to have better than 150 repro wheels pass through my hands. Yours is very very nice
Enjoy.

I'm a maker of the teak steering wheels and thought I would offer the benefit of my experience to forum makers. I do not wish to break any rules, so I am not advertising but offering information and counsel should anyone have questions about the teak wheels. My wheels have been discussed in the forum and it appears that several people here have them. I do searches every now and then to keep abreast of what people are saying and came upon this recent thread and thought maybe I could help. I will not say much more unless asked a question. Please consider me a resource for information.

Probably time to end this thread after having to edit or remove NSV material.
