Default Flywheel and fork recomendations?

Hi,
I just had the Muncie rebuilt in my '67, it has a the original 300 HP in it that was warmed over by a PO, L79 intake, cam (L79?), .030 over with forged pistons, balanced and blueprinted, I figure maybe 350HP through the stock manifolds and sidepipes?

The present 11" LUK clutch worked great except for oil contamination, I'll replace with the same from RockAuto or Sumitt.
Has a 621 bellhousing with a #3988795 168 tooth GM flywheel that has been machined at least once, I want to replace that also. Any recommendations on a stock equivalent flywheel, LUK apparently don't make a 168 tooth internal balance to fit with a two piece rear main seal? Anyone have experience with ATP Z-296, on paper meets all the criteria?

As can be seen below, the clutch fork has wear, may be the original, so does the pivot ball. Apparently some of the new clutch forks are junk, any recommendations for the fork and ball from Sumitt or Rock?
I'll also order an all metal throwout bearing and olite bushing.

Thanks for any input,
Paul

I think you can still buy the fork from GM. I would source a good used flywheel and have it surfaced

I recommend a similar SFI Rated billet steel flywheel.

Check Summit Racing. It looks like LUK does make a 168 tooth flywheel for an 11 inch clutch, used on any 2 piece rear seal Chevy V8, internal balance.

Hi guys, thanks for the feedback, greatly appreciated.
The billet flywheel looks very nice, but it's not a high HP car and will never be raced.
Luk LFW101 looks right, thanks, I had looked on Sumitt a couple of times but had never found it?
I'll continue putting together my list.

Does the fly wheel require special bolts? If so what are the best ones to buy?

yes. I use Gm bolts. But I’m sure ARP makes them as well

Yes, they do, but the ARP flywheel bolts are slightly longer than the GM bolts, and the portion that protrudes forward through the crankshaft flange can hit the sheet metal inspection cover; if you're not aware and haven't "modified" the inspection cover for clearance, when you start it it sounds like you're in a tin outhouse in a hailstorm.

Thanks for the info, John.
Does anyone have a p/n for the 327 L-79 fly wheel bolts.

The 168-tooth flywheel and 11" clutch were not stock for the 1967 small block, which used the 153-tooth flywheel and 10.5" clutch. The bigger flywheel and clutch were used on big blocks, but I'm not sure what years. So, when you go looking for a "stock" replacement, keep this difference in mind.
