Default 1967 L79 fan clutch

Looking for help identifying the correct fan clutch part number for my '67 L79 non A/C. I know that there are two types. I believe my car came with an EATON clutch possibly 'CJ' type, but am not sure. Since this Forum has produced great feedback I am reaching out for comments. Thank you in advance.

I just referenced a '78 GM catalog. It has a listing for a fan clutch covering '60-'70 SB and BB, 3916141 stamped CK. Hope this helps. Dennis

Midyear fan clutches contain no part number identification. There are, however, two ink-stamped character/codes initially to separate small block ("CJ") from big block ("CK") because of a slight length difference in the hub-to-clutch face dimension. Circa 1973, this length was apparently deemed unimportant, and all service replacements used 3916141 CK. This is a service replacement clutch in "Eaton" style with bimetal coil in front. It was never used on production midyear's. The more common OEM fan clutch was Schweitzer manufactured & had bimetal thermostat in a flat bar.

Two pics below - 1st one is service replacement 6141 with CK & containing German language script; 2nd one is OEM assembly line late '66/early '67 with CJ. The Schweitzer's often had date stamp on water pump hub flange. I don't have a photo of date stamp, but from my notes it readsy '5-23-66 SC'. K&B products (Ken) makes nice repros of both styles.

I had the 3916141 fan clutch on my 67 SB for a long time. Not available from GM anymore but I think it's available elsewhere. Is there more info on the Schweitzer type repro ?

I'm aware of that. Post #3 mentions a current repro of the bar type fan clutch that I was not aware of.
