From 59 Borg Warner to a Tremec 5 speed. Great
I had a Tremec TKO 500 installed by ARH Performance, Huntersville, N C. (Hydraulic shift) This tranny is tight and lets you know by engine sound if you're in the right gear. I did shelf my period correct 283 with a simple 1975 two bolt 350. I can now drive freeway speeds in fifth. What a difference! My son can bring the 59 back to original if he wants...
