I'd like to find me one of them out of date restomods
This was the first restomod that I built for a customer...........18 years ago. Guess they're still not out of style!!!! Just sold, Mecum, Kissimmee Bid $140K, sale at $154K. Not bad for 18 years, that that dammed old C4 suspension!!! BTW, I charged to owner 10K labor, plus parts. Paid 15K for the car. Bought at Carlisle 18 years ago.
He is pretty happy.

Before all the hate starts coming in. I originally installed an old used LT1, with a 700 R4. Put the LS3 in about 8 years ago, with a 4l65e. Oh no, not an AUTOMATIC. I replaced the soft top and carpet about 6 years ago. SR III chassis is #17. Car had about 5k miles on the LS3, and about 15K on the chassis.

Always liked that car! I'd skip the coil covers, but to each his own. All of your work is fantastic....wish I could afford it

What a great looking car! It hasn't aged a day. I actually thought all restomods had automatics, since the cars are just made for cruising.

That's a purty 18 year old restomod. I'm loading one of my cars on a truck on Monday, coming your way, $10K + parts, what a deal.

Somehow though I doubt we’ll be getting a positive response to our offers. Paint jobs alone go for more than that today......
Mr. Coletta probably worked for peanuts on that first job to establish his business and reputation.

No hate here, Mike, just a ton of respect. That car is classy and timeless and perfectly executed. You have excellent taste.

Back in the late 60's early 70's, we were restomoding C1's
before there was the word restomod or C1. We never thought they would
have much value used. Your vette looks great. I thought about buying and
building another but ...and it is a big BUT. If you are well over 6 ft, and getting
older a C1 can be hard getting in and out of.
Its still a cool ride.
Good luck

It is a GOOD thing that we don’t all like the same things or it would be a very boring world.
Buy or build what YOU look like love it and don’t worry if others like t or not.
