Wiring harness for restomod
So does anyone have suggestions for the best wiring harness to use for a 1959 resto mod. I've used Lectric Limited harnesses in the past. Just not sure if it's best to modify an original series or just start with a restomod series and make all the mods. The car is pretty much original except for an LS engine, TKO transmission, and aftermarket modern gauges. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Rand,
We used American Autowire harness (Part #: 500695) for our '59 restomod...Nice stuff...All the terminals lined out with the Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air components and the rest of the electrical connections throughout the car...

I used Rebel Wiring harness in my '37 Ford pickup. Carbed motor with electric fan, vintage air, elec fuel pump, elec wipers. Very good quality wire, the PVC sheath is still as flexible as new after 9 years. Excellent choice for steetrod wiring.

If you are going real high tech, the autowire stuff may be a better choice.
