When we transfer the title we also transfer the Antique Plates. We did that on the T-Bird also. Need to get tires for it but not sure what I should put on her. What would Radials ride like and handle? This car sat for 27 years and got a long way to go. This is my first Corvette.

What came on the car when new? It has Firestone on it now. They are not Radials.. Since I have the Hub Caps for the car. I need to find Wheels dated and put the correct tires. The Knock Offs? Maybe put Radials on them because they are not originals as the car came off the assembly line. I don't think I will be driving the car much.

I don’t know, as nice as the 63 hub caps are they don’t compare with the look of the knock offs, so what they weren’t offered in 63 you will still have a set of rims and tires for the hub caps should you decide you want to go the NCRS route.

Bias when new but they are not fun to drive on as they follow every rut in the road. And since you live in Pa and know how good the roads are . For fun driving I would get radials on 205-75-15 you can get decent ones at your local tire store in black wall. People one here have had trouble with new white walls turning brown. I just bought tires from Diamond Back in there house brand tire Auburn brand. They will put on any color stripe you want. They where a little expensive but they look good. They are radial tires but look like bias

If the car wasn't in the shade, we could tell what color it is.....

Lots of good information in the attached thread:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ial-tires.html
I went with the Hankook Optimo on my 65, they ride fine, and I like the look of the whitewall. My previous tires were Goldline Coker Classics, but they were 18 years old and ready fore a change.

First this Corvette Nightmare is Daytona Blue. This is my first Corvette and probably my last. So far I am not impress by no means. But time will tell. I don't understand why anyone would let a car get in this shape. Name calling I do a lot in fun. My buddy has a 50 Ford all original that looks crappy.. I say to him I see you are driving that Rat Infested Ford today. He say to me Please take it easy on the old girl. But this So Called Corvette I have several names I could use on it. Some pretty mean. Time will tell down the road how she will preform. Anyway it's all in good fun. First thing a buddy ask where did I get that piece of shi##. Then they look at the T-Bird and ask what the he## is that. Don't you know that they are not safe to ride in.I wonder what today will bring? Can't be all bad. When I get down I get my little pickup out and go for a ride with my wife

The house in the background fits the car nicely. If the photo was black and white, I'd think it was a snapshot from 57 years ago! Daytona Blue is THE best color for a '63, IMO.

They're only rattletraps because the previous owners let them go. Proper maintenance is the key for any vehicle, but Corvettes have been raced, abused, restored improperly, bubbaized, etc, etc. and it's up to you to make her like new. Very nice color, love it.
Love your old pickup too.....any info or more pics of that one?
