I pushed the '62 forward in my lift area so I could get the riding mower up on the lift to sharpen the blades for the upcoming grass cutting season. Now that it finally quit raining and has dried out some, I have been clearing about 2 acres of land with the "big boy" toy.

Replaced an AC flex duct on my 67 that only lasted 19,475 days since rolling out the factory door. After doing that I looked on the passenger side to make sure that duct was in good shape, but it was AWOL, which would explain the feeble cold air flow on that side my girlfriend has mentioned. The glove box and console side panel have to come out to get to that. Onward.

Well Gov DeSantis "locked down" the state of Florida starting tonight and how that differs from what has been recommended so far is a mystery..... So, since I am officially on "house arrest" (I guess ankle bracelets will be next) I may try to detail the undercarriage of the 63 - something I've been putting off for a long time. If somebody has recommendations for cleaning the fiberglass I'm all ears...

I have changed the fan shroud in my 65 fuelie to a restored original one. The old one had an irritating dent in the artch.. Also managed to clean up engine compartment a bit when things where apart...

Once you scrape any heavy grease & dirt off I use Laquer thinner soaked rags and #4 steel wool. Once clean spray with satin clear Then an occasional wipe with spray 9 will keep it looking great.

I sold both of my 63 Restomods in February my other cars are parked for the lock down but a restomod chassis build showed up last weekend so I should have plenty to keep me from getting any trouble.

I taught my 13 year old son how to replace a fuel filter. It was clogged with deteriorated fuel line rubber particles. Also, gave him a lesson why filters are important.

Well I got sidetracked configuring and "locking down" my 13 year old granddaughter's computer remotely so she can do online school lessons. Guess I didn't think about the need for cameras and microphone and certain apps having to be punched through the firewall to allow this and still maintain a modicum of safety....
After that I installed a 10 amp inline fuse in the 63 cigarette lighter socket power line. Been meaning to do this for ages and I'd get an occasional spark plugging in my iphone charger. Done now and I used a Blo and Glo mini- fuse socket -- pretty nifgty:
Start chassis detailing tomorrow...

Driving them. took the '79 308 GTS out for an alignment and spirited twisty road drive. Taking the '15 Z06 to pick up some '61 Corvette stuff at the powder coaters, later. I am doing some fan shroud mods (which is at the powder coaters) on the '61: cut, fit, formed and pop riveted some aluminum extensions to close up the gap at the radiator, while that is out, clean, and repaint the front half of the engine compartment and fix a little bit of long before I got the car, fire damage on one inner fender right where the alternator is (now removed for replacement black 12SI alternator)

Replaced TCC (Torque Converter Clutch) solenoid (200-4R) in the '66. Would go into lock-up but not come out when "HOT".
Parts/fluid been sitting on workbench since last spring. Pulled fuse and drove all summer without lock up. Didn't do much hiway driving anyway.
Washed 12' and went for drive.. both back home in garage ------ waiting for something ???

Not a Corvette, but she's made by the General... I replaced the water pump on my '65 Buick 425 dual quad motor. That grew into a complete detail of the engine compartment... I'm about 40 hours into it by now. I think it turned out nice:
