Default Jerry Earl SR2

The Jerry Earl SR2 started out as a St.Louis Plant produced 1956 production Corvette VIN # E56S002532

But on the Jerry Earl title the VIN is E56F002532

any explanation for this change?

Is that the red car owned by Bill Tower? If so, he is probably the best person to answer the question.

But if it is the blue car once owned by Rich Mason (he sold it a few years ago), then I don't know what or where it has gone now (I understand somewhere in NW USA). The new owner seems to be less than that willing to share.

The car was redone by Styling/Engineering in MI - apparently they wanted some acknowledgement of their work. Irwin Kroiz (sp?) owns it now and it has been on display at numerous shows recently and is scheduled to be at Amelia Island in March.

Then I presume it's the blue SR2 formerly owned by Rich Mason. I inquired a few years ago about why they removed the dual meter unit which was on it when Rich owned and then replaced it with a single air meter unit. Never got a good answer and and the reply I did get seemed as though I offended them because I asked.

Is this the one?

And if this is the SR2 formerly owned by Rich, this is the dual air meter FI unit which was on it when Rich owned it.

With that information, then the only thing I can suggest is to ask Rich if he knows why the VIN and the VIN on the title are different.
