New C1 Owner!
Hey guys, I just picked up a 62. Numbers matching 327 250hp powerglide. 73k miles with a rough base/clear repaint but she's mine. This has been a long time dream of mine and I couldn't be happier.
When I graduated college and got my first job, I bought a house and black Corvette (C5 and still have it). Now it's 10 years later and I moved to California for a new job opportunity at age 33. I closed on my new house a few months back and now I have second second black Corvette.

Congratulations. More photos are probably needed along with some info on the truck.

I drive my '62 (300hp 4-speed) as much as I can - and it's still not enough. These are great cars to drive - they easily keep up with (and also easily pass) modern traffic, the 61-62 has just a bit more room than previous years, and that 327 is to die for. Don't sweat the little things that keep it from being a show car or NCRS-perfect . . . those are the very things that allow you to drive and enjoy it without worrying too much about it. Mine looks great and shows well, but there are plenty of nicks, dings, lumps and bumps. I know where they all are, but no one else ever seems to see them. Enjoy the hell out of it, especially all the comments and attention it brings. I also have a C7 convertible, but everyone loves the '62, and it gets ten times the looks and comments that the C7 does. Get used to it.
