Try Corvette Central. I purchased an exhaust system for a 1967 Coupe with 327/300 and it worked out fine. Good luck!

Corvette Central makes a great exhaust system. Allan’s does as well and if you want correct Gardner makes them too but much more money. If you you want a system but don’t care about being correct a exhaust shop can make you one too. There’s plenty of them around Westminster.

Installed the Corvette Central aluminized exhaust system in my 59 over 15 years ago and it still looks and performs as new, and the fit was excellent.

Gardner makes the best sounding system. If you want it completely silent, you can use Corvette Central.

Thanks Keith.
The car is all original so will probably call Corvette Central.
Are you going to Maco tomorrow?
Thanks,
Nelson

Thanks 65 Silververt,
I never heard the name Garner. I do like a good sounding vet, especially due to this car is just a base 283. I will look into them.

If you want any sound, avoid Corvette Central! I have done extensive testing on all available systems and Corvette Centrals is generally the worst, although the fitment is nice. Allen's is also a good alternative, but not quite as nice as the gardner system.

Corvette Central sells an off road system if you like it a bit louder. Their stock system is a faithfull reproduction to the original sound as the car left the factory which is what most people who have an unmodified vehicle want. Depends what the OP wants, he said his car is all original. It's a base 283 just making it loud won't change that.
