Can someone please tell me what kind of paint and color for a 1965 console i wish to redo.

I’m not sure where the answer that John Z gave you is but I thought I would add that I used the red dye interior paint from Corvette America to touch up my original console and it matched perfectly.

Use dye rather than paint, otherwise you'll fill in the texture of the console.

The dye sold by CA is lacquer based. So any lacquer based paint will work.
