58-64 GM Full Size/C2 front suspension the same?
Hello All,
My 66 was almost all buttoned up and ready for the summer and I found some issues with my front suspension.
A few folks have mentioned that 1958-1964 GM full size X-frame cars have the same front components for the most part.
Can any one confirm? They sure do look the same. My search to cross parts was a 1964 Impala and parts are half the price of a 66 Vette!
Thanks for the help.

I am looking for control arms and control arm shafts.
Looks like the lower shaft is the same, ball joints are the same and the control arms are the same except the lowers may be reversed.

Just note 63-82 A-arms are basically the same with minor differences through out the years you should be able to source C3 ones fairly easy and cheap

According to my old Moog books, the upper and lower ball joints, K6034 and K6035 are the same 63-82 Vette and 58-64 full size.
The upper shafts are not available for the full size but K6072 is for the Vette, and if you can find them K6104 allows extra camber, the bushing kit is k305, old number, and K5196, new number.
The lower shafts are the same, K293 and the bushing kit is K304.
The sway links are different but K440 is for the Vette.
