Beautiful, beautiful car, congrats.

And remember, the market clearly adds a premium to black cars.

Looks nice, but that fuel filter bubba job would be my first task to repair. That's a fire waiting to happen. I'd change the fuel line. It's a PIA, but worth the time. Do in well ventilated area. Ask me how i know. Wife came into garage to get something out of the freezer and just about passed out from the fumes. Odd, i didn't smell anything. LOL. Car guys.
There was no external fuel filter on the 67's. Car still looks good. ARA

The "Hokey" ignition wires were installed in 1968 as the original owner put in a hidden kill switch / anti theft device to protect the car while unattended in the parking lot.

The fuel filter, his install too , I replaced with a new one when doing the carb but ARA is correct there is only supposed to be an in-carb filter.

It's painfully clear the car is giving you too many headaches so i will help you out and schedule Intercity to pick the car up from you. I will tend to the other minor issues. I just don't want you to have all that stress with the car. Let me know if morning or afternoon pick up times work best for you. I am willing to work with your schedule.

Car looks awesome pal. Keep plucking along. I LOVE IT. Let me know if you need any technical guidance, other than my smartas& comments. Mean it sincerely.
ARA

Looking good! Listen to ARA, he knows his 67's. Continue to make small step improvements, that's what I did enroute to my Top Flight.
