Default How to add sun visors to a C1

My 60's top windshield frame is not equipped for sun visors. I've had the frame apart during the restoration but didn't add the reinforcements. Has anyone had success installing visors to the windshield molding without a complete tear down. If so what did you use and how well did it works? Thanks in advance for any and all comments!

I would assume that to do it right, you would need to purchase the upper windshield chrome piece with the threaded visor accommodations... Probably around $400.00 new, today. That's what I did.. However, I needed that chrome piece...mine was in pretty bad shape...Bought mine from Crane Corvettes, West Coast....with the visor accommodations.
