Which One is Real?
This is a very nice car at Classic Cars of Sarasota. Anyone that looks at it should have this information.
Still looking for the right Riverside Red SWC.

"Which one is real," the trim tags appear to be one and the same. The rivets appear new and not set very deep. The "Y" on "BY" does not appear to meet the typical look of original trim tags. The attaching bar has considerable rust, I wonder what the upper birdcage looks like....
Now that its been mentioned, I failed to see the paint code difference in the top pic....

That looks like two different trim tags but with the same data. I see very different scratches and wear patterns between the two. Also, the rivet hole depth looks deeper on the top one.

Paint codes are different. One is for a red car, the other is for a silver one even though they have the same body number. The tag for the red one is obviously a reproduction. Hard to tell on the silver one as the pic. quality is poor.

Winner winner. Just wanted to show the car was once one paint color and two months later grew a new paint color.

I've looked at several cars at that Sarasota dealer - none were what they claimed to be....in fact it seems to be a common disease in that region with several dealers....based on personal experience...

That way way anyone who Googles the VIN in the future will be made aware of this “disparity”
It would just be a nice public service to our future Corvette brethren!
