62 Hardtop headliner color

62 Hardtop headliner color
Is the original headliner color for a 1962 always the same color as the seats? I have a Roman Red 62 with black convertible top, black interior and white headliner in the hard top.

That's correct. White is the only correct hardtop headliner color for all 1962's regardless of interior color.

Since my 62 is a non stock red color (PPG Hot Red), I had the guys at Glassworks redo the inside of the top red like the interior. It looks great! PS- they only made soft tops in black or white too, but mine is khaki.

Also, the headliner is supposed to be molded rubber or ??? I've seen some rebuilt tops with stitched headliners instead of the proper molded unit.
