Yes, for now---I am in Texas, car in Ca.
I put a couple hundred miles on this engine/FI system, including rolling burnouts, hot weather, cold weather, city traffic, highway cruising---never failed.

I have seen fuel filters do this. Will idle until there is more demand.

when you say it 'dies'; is that idling for 15 minutes, or driving for 15 minutes (around town or on highway)...

how does it act when it dies, is it a running out of gas type of dying, or a sudden stop of the engine (like you turned the key off)

my guess is that it has nothing to do with the FI itself, it either runs or it doesn't...

What about idle/fast idle? Could function fine when cold and at fast idle, but dies when warmed up if idle is set too low...?

If it is your points you might consider going to electronic ignition. Will not have to worry about points burning again. I changed to Breakerless SE from Paragon in my 59 FI 290.
The engine is running real smooth and no more point problems. I know, I know is not original but I want to drive my car and not have to worry about having to tow an all original car.

Does not sound like vapor lock but it could be. These FI cars are notorious for vapor locking. It will die and it will start when it cools down if it is vapor lock. Ask me how I know.

Can verify that coil was changed and Pertronix ignition was installed and then replaced/reinstalled with another one in case that was defective.

Running out of gas type of dying. Happened after driving a few miles, now happens when started/sitting. Local experienced Corvette mechanic has run the gamut of troubleshooting possibilities.

I didn't post this, but could probably answer more questions about the issue. I appreciate the OP (who built the car and has been assisting with troubleshooting ever since) posting here and soliciting further feedback.

Remove air cleaner and when the engine begins to die, spray starting fluid into air meter— if it perks up (runs), then there a fuel supply problem; if it does not perk up, it is an ignition/spark problem.
once that is verified we can start looking in the appropriate area(s)
