Without this forum I could not have done the work I did on our old corvettes. The wealth of knowledge, good advice and willingness to share information is second to none. Thank you all!!!

My thanks as well. I haven't had a Vette for over 30 years and forgot a lot. Just getting started again and at my age, 74, memory isn't what it used to be.

Default Started a similar thread a few years back.

SolidAxle - He was the first person I contacted for help in finding my dream corvette. Although we had never met, he was willing to help me find the right midyear. He spent a lot of time with me on the phone and eventually introduced me to provette67.

provett67 - If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be the proud owner of my sweet silver '66 corvette. He too spent some time on the phone with me, kept me looking in the right direction and ultimately did the inspection. We have been friend ever since. A terrific person, you are really fortunate if you know him.

Mind you, it took us three years to find my dream corvette and at a terrific price to boot.

midyearvette - Several months after my purchase of the '66, it was running too rich and at times would stall. I first met Frank at a car show he was judging and he was willing to listen to my problem. Much to my surprise, he said he would stop by and take a look - and he did a week later! Within 30 minutes the corvette was running perfectly and has been ever since. Another terrific friend to have.

Jackfit - For taking the time on his 48 state tour and stopping by Columbus, Ohio to visit Frank and me. It was a lot of fun to be apart of his tour. He stopped by again 5 years later.

Thanks guys

I just called Frank. I read to him both our posts, he laughed and said to wish you and his friends here a Merry Christmas. He is stopping by Tuesday for a beer

Grateful for this community. I’m probably one of those n00bs, but you guys are my go-to source of advice. Thanks.

Hey... while I’ve got all you experts here at one time.... I’ve got some questions about Pertronix, oil, and will 315s fit under my stock fenders?

Merry Christmas to all.

What a great thread!

I myself would also like to thank all the great guys on the forum who help me out each time I ask a question.
This has been the best forum I ever joined and it's incredible how willing the members are to help and share their knowledge!

Many many thanks to all and a Merry Christmas from the other side of the pond!

LOL!! Paint will cost you anywhere from $500.00 to $50,000.00!

The latex enamel found at Home Depot works real good for a good quality "inexpensive" paint job!

Be sure to get the short napped roller, as it lays out extremely well!

Thanks to a lot of knowledgeable people on this board. A lot of good information is posted here. John Hinckley's in depth replies are most appreciated by everyone. He's been around GM plants for several decades so he knows what he's talking about. Many others here specialize in various other areas of our cars so there's always someone here to answer questions.

Shout out to Dom who bailed me out by restoring my A/C compressor out of my 1967 this year.

Absolutely! If you're a Corvette guy every trip here is stimulating your mind and fighting the age process.
Thank you for the interaction!

Luckily, I know these folks a bit and can reach out for help outside the forum as needed. Finally, being a short drive from Mike Coletta has gotten me out of more bad mojo than I care to recount!
Thanks to all mentioned and than some. Because of Frankie and all the others mentioned I have made good progress maintaining my 64. The advice got me through my brake rebuild, among other projects.

There are SO many guys on here who have forgotten more than I will ever know. And they are willing to share that knowledge not just once, but every time somebody asks for help even if it's been asked before.
