Default My new car barn and lift

Well, after 40 years of dreaming and looking we finally found our dream property, and are in the process of moving. It has several out buildings in addition to the main house - guest house, shop, RV barn, etc - , but the best part to me is the 3 bay double ended with lift car barn. So it can hold 7 cars total if one is on the lift and one under.

The lift is a Backyard Buddy 4 post extended and over height 9000 lb capacity - and its portable and can be re positioned easily!

No over head clearance problems here - it has a second floor with a clear opening. Just need to be careful and not drink beer up there.....maybe I'll put in a railing!

Oh yeah - there is a main house too. What sold the deal to the "boss" is that they took the 4th bedroom and turned it into a giant walk in closet connected directly to the master bedroom. That is "hers"!

All I have to do now is sell 3 other properties to pay this one off.......

Beautiful!!

I'm thinking about adding a separate garage/building that you drive into on the upper level. Then a four post lift would lower one side down and allow access to multi-car storage and work area. Above would be a mother in law residence to appease my "Boss."

Congratulations You have your priorities in the proper order. Looks great I agree that beer drinking upstairs could get a little dangerous. Nice view looking down though.

Glenn
you better put a safety net across that hole...
Nice job! You got the place I moved back east to find. I'm still looking.
You have your bases covered now.
Merry Christmas!

Looks great! I've always said you can never have too much garage/shop space.

You didn't say where it's located (you don't have to be specific), but from the pine trees and views, it looks like it might be near the Gold Country?

Glenn- that's terrific! I'm beyond jealous as my little car collection actually spills into my elderly neighbors garage.

Must I wait 40 years for this?!
