And the C1 and C2 versions of both products are vastly different - and so ?

I have the SPW version on my 62, and it works... pictures of the raingear parts are intimidating, but apparently they work too...

I guess I'm scared of a cable inside an aluminum tube lasting a long time. Once I get all of this stuff in there I don't want to ever see it again.

I installed the rain gear system along with vintage air in my 1959. I had to cut out some aluminum under the dash to get proper clearance for the rain gear arms. Time and patience are required but it worked fine. Talk with the rain gear folks and tell them you are installing their kit along with vintage air. They will reposition their motor so it will fit along side the vintage air evaporator. Good luck with your install.

The Rain Gear looks like what I want to go with. The car is completely disassembled to say the least right now so those are the next parts I want to get for fitting and installation.

Wipers? I've never put the top up, I have no idea how to turn on the wipers!

I used the rain gear. It comes with a ton of brackets but you'll only use a few of them. Not a bad install. However you do need to reposition the motor.

Staying on this subject of an alternative to the stock 2 speed manual setting, has anyone had experience with this mod which enables multiple settings in pulse mode?

I just bought this through Amazon for $78.48 including shipping. Stay tuned as I will post a new thread on this mod soon.

I don't remember which one I have, it is what ever Corvette Central sells. The guy that installed it for me said it is kind of a cheesy set up. We were never able to get the wipers to park when turned off. He talked to the company about it and just got the run around.
