Default Anyone wast to show pictures of your engine compartment

1963. Right now the ignition shielding is off and the hood. Thought it would make a good picture with hood off. I have it off because I'm painting the under side. I used Krylon industrial semi flat black on the compartment as suggested by some members. I did not want a real shiny or flat paint. I think the Krylon has just a hint of shine but not to much.

Driver L75 - this morning.

Stripped the intake in thirty minutes. 670 Holley requires I change intakes, so I'm putting on a 2101. Should arrive UPS any time now.

I'll clean paint and tidy up plumbing a bit this weekend while I'm in here.

Lookin good Moxie. You are probably one of the first to get the heater hoses routed correctly at the coolant supply tank. You have the T fitting rotated to about 45°, just like it should be.

I did notice that you have the wrong heater hose fitting at the intake manifold though. The long fitting goes in the water pump and the short fitting should be in the intake manifold. That's a strange looking fitting.

I'm sure Mikelj has it routed right on his 64 Z06 though he did not give us that view.

That Krylon paint has the "eggshell" sheen you want ... you don't want glossy or barbecue grill black...
