Need advice on good C1 gauge refurbishers
Requesting some advice on good gauge refurbishers based on quality of work, price, and timeliness. I've heard mixed reviews about Corvette Clocks in TN and Corvette Instruments in FL. Thanks!

Its hard to beat Bill Harrison out of Florida or Corvette Specialties of Maryland (West - who are now on the west coast).

I had Corvette Instruments do a 59 hi redline tach and he did a great job and refinished everything beautifully. Quick turnaround and fair price. No problems and it was all done by mail from Hawaii to Florida.

I had my cluster "restored" and what the person did was just order new replacement gauges from one of the parts suppliers and stick them in. They didn't restore my gauges which is what I wanted. This person was recommended by this forum. Careful

Corvette Specialties of MD (now located in Palm Springs, CA) did mine.
Not cheap, but top notch work.
I refurb'd the housing myself. Took the gauges to them for rebuild.

As with most things (not all), but most things.....you get what you pay for. I never have a problem with paying a premium as long as you end up with a quality product. Looks like CS did a great job for you.

I checked out Bill's website and made a call. If he's too busy or something I'll try one of the others here. Thanks all.

I used Corvette Specialties of Maryland (not in California) a couple of years ago. They did great work.

How much should you expect to pay to have the entire cluster rebuilt?
Here's the link for Bill Harrison.

Rick's Restorations (Rick Stotler) in Joppa Md did a great job for me a few months back. (410) 538-4528
I was in his shop a few times and he showed me all the different work he does and all the calibration equipment it takes to do the instruments properly.

If I recall, parts and labor to rebuild all gauges was about $700.
That included new faces, needles, lenses, and chrome trim, etc.
As I said that does not include any work on the housing.. I did that myself.
Here is a "before" shot so you can see the condition:
