Default Soft top storage question

Hey guys. Unfortunately its getting cold up here in the northeast and I'm thinking of putting my hardtop on the 67. Does everyone just keep the softtop in the car all winter or does anyone take it out of the car and keep it warm so it doesn't wrinkle? Any advice would be appreciated.

Leave it on the car and up. Otherwise you could add some padding and make sure it is not wrinkled when you store it.

Definitely take it out and store it in the open position, preferably in a warm environment. I used to keep my 65 top folded down in the rear when I put the hard top on and it ruined it. I bought a new top and just never put it back on the car.

Default Soft top

I leave my tops up, but I don't have any hard tops. We must be close, I live in Harleysville as well,

If you get a Haartz Stayfast top then you don't have to worry about wrinkling or shrinkage and a few hours up in the sun and the top looks new. With vinyl, I'd just store it and deal with the inevitable wrinkles in the spring. Sometimes I put a white washcloth over the top rear bow end caps when I stack the top to keep them from biting the vinyl and provide a little more spacing for the folded top...that might help some.
