About the most exciting thing that can happen to a newcomer on this forum is to post a topic and come back later to see that John Z has replied to it. It makes you feel legit. Always great information and always presented with class and encouragement. I will remember you in my prayers, John. Get well soon, sir!

I would like to inform to those that may be interested, that John Z has been hospitalized for several weeks. He is not receiving PM's or emails but if members are interested in sending a Get Well card, PM me and I will supply the address. The exact medical condition is unknown but he has revealed in past postings that he did have COPD.

JOHN.........You have been such an inspiration to us all. And such a generous guy to share all your knowledge. Many of the new Forum members don't know ''you were there''. Worked at the St. Louis plant building Corvettes.
Your seminars on 63-67 body construction is priceless.
And the story on A.O. Smith body construction answered the questions about why an engine date can be later than the body date on these cars. And why A.O. Smith cars did not do side pipes.....and 67 stinger hood paint.
And on and on......You have ''GIVEN BACK and SHARED'' so much to the automotive hobby.
GET WELL MY FRIEND. Prayers are flowing your way.

Get well John.
I always considered you like batman or superman. You always stayed hidden in the background, listened, and swooped in with the correct answer when needed.
You never got involved in the "politics" of the forum. When you had something to say, I always learned.
There are very few people I would want as my next door neighbor, or one that I would want as a friend, and you are one of the them.
