231 Coil - Pics of known originals?
I am looking for an original 231 coil. I have seen a couple that looks suspect to me. I have heard that original 207 coils, which are much easier to come by, can be placed in aftermarket sleeves so that the part looks like an original, sort of. What I really want to see is the embossing on the side of the coil, not the writing on the top. I am comfortable with what that should look like, along with being knowledgable with the magnetic qualities of the posts on original and aftermarket. Thanks for any help.
Also, if you have one you are willing to part with let me know. I placed a WTB ad in the parts section. Thanks.

All the Delco coils have the same font of the embossed numbers. So the numbers should look no different then any other coil. If you think it's been re-sleved then measure the diameter and look closey at the top. Should be faily easy to spot.

Here is why I am confused. The first pic is a known original. The second is a known reproduction. The third one has the correct font on top and looks just like the known original, except that the hyphen between the 12 and V is missing. The diameter of these two are very close and smaller than the known reproduction. Any thoughts on the missing hyphen?
