Door Jamb switch
Hello!
I replaced my dash harness, and i never had bulbs in my interior light sockets. i tested both door jamb switches with a meter and they operate correctly. the problem is, either the switched are not adjusted properly, pushed in to far, or is there suppose to be a bumper? on the door hinge to hit the switch? the bulbs stay on constantly and the headlight switch is in the proper setting. its a early 63 convert. any help appreciated!
thank you!

Ok replaced both switches and checked them with a borescope to see the operated correctly and they do. The interior lights will not go out with the doors closed. Help! And the headlight switch is new from Zip and not locked all the way to the right
Thanks

If you push the switch with your finger do the lights go out? If so refer to my first reply

No they don't. So I took a scope and stuck it in the hole where the wire goes. I can watch both switches slide and break contact. So the switches are getting pushed in by the door hinge

It's fixed! And I found out something new. I was using LED lights. Apparently the sockets all have slight power all the time. Enough to light the LED constantly making it look like a bad switch. I found out by trying the LED in a 67 dodge. I installed the regular bulbs in and they work perfectly. Sorry for the waste of time.
