Bill

Glad to hear your surgery went well... sounds as though you had a very good mechanic!

Wishing you a full, and speedy recovery.

Visited Bill today, and he is sitting up (says he is walking occasionally), and bitching (typical Bill)........

He has some recuperation to go through, and I will let him fill in the details (after he gets his Ipad back).

When I walked into his room, there was another guy sitting and talking to Bill, and then I saw his name tag that said "Pastor" (Hmmmmmm, not good - rarely do they make post op "sitting down" visits, unless.....). But he was just a friend (Bill knows just about everybody in town), and the Pastor was making his rounds.

John

Drainage tubes came out today along with a catheter that must have impinged on a nerve in my left shoulder. NO Amount of drugs would make it go away and i haven't slept in 4 days because of the discomfort.....

Glad you are OK. The pain is a b!tch for a couple weeks. Did you get a chance to consider my earlier suggestion to rent a hospital bed for the first month or so at home?

Glad to hear surgery went well and you are on the mend. Major surgeries are tough (my wife has had a number of them).

Hang in there and we hope that you are home soon and driving your 62 in the near future.....that's too good a car to just sit idle for long.

Your input and willingness to share knowledge and experience on this forum is always appreciated.

I think the hospital bed idea is a good way to go. Good luck,

Doug

Been in the middle of a move Bill, so I read with pleasure this 6 pages of well wishers on your bi-pass surgery...sounds like the Man upstairs heard all these prayers Glad it's behind you. Now rest, recuperate and rehab.

All the best to you. God bless!

They won't let me go home without 24 hour care available, so I reckon there will be a period of time in rehab; whatever that time, I should be able to 'take care of myself' afterwards

Glad to hear you're doing well, Bill.

Hope they get the shoulder issue cleared up.

Just a thought.... Diamond Ridge in Beverly Hills/Lecanto is a very nice rehab facility. I know many who have spent rehab time there.

Chuck
