You might post this question in the General Topic section rather than Cars for Sale......may get more responses.

C-Bob-1 - When the mods move your thread to the General Section, you're really going to need to fill in the blanks on details and specs for us to be able to ballpark a price estimate. Pics would help too.

My personal feeling is that a '62 is a nice step up from the pre-'61 cars. How tall are you? The '61-'62 cockpit was made larger to accommodate bigger people!

A lot really depends on the quality of the "driver".

is the paint chipped, microscratches, etc, or show quality? It the chrome and stainless flawless, or it is dinged, scratched, or has corrosion here are there? Is the interior like new, or does it show wear? Windshield perfect, or sand pits? Can you eat of any part of the engine or engine compartment, or is it a bit grungy? Ditto the frame.

That sort of stuff. The more "used" the car is, the closer to the mid 40s, the more perfect, closer to somewhere above their asking price.

Wow all this speculation without a single picture, casting number, details, you-name-it.
I'll pile on in that case....the car is worth between $20K and $75K...guarantee it.

Agreed, "driver quality" is WAY too general of a statement. My car is "driver quality" to some and "show quality" to others. I'd personally say it is driver quality but no way in heck I'd sell it anywhere near 50K.

There are way too many variables to put any kind of number on the car with the description given.
